Comments: A few details about Expedia's "$58/night in NYC" ad
I was in NY recently and wound up staying at Candy Hostel. It was clean and reasonably secure. Based on all the other hostels featured in the story, guess I got lucky.
Why doesn't Brooklyn have affordable lodging compared to Manhattan? If they wind up building expensive lodging to be "just like Manhattan", doesn't it defeat the purpose?
