9-11 is one of the most fearsome and saddest tragedies to hit New York City in modern times. It was a violation of the meanest kind.
What is very troubling is that innocent people who had nothing to do with foreign policies (or America's activities around world) died.
As if that was not enough, many fire fighters and the law enforcement agents sacrificed their lives too in efforts to rescue some of the people who were trapped in the World Trade center Towers.
Some fire fighters who survived are gravely sick and nobody remembers them or their heroism anymore.
There is no amount of money that can equal the lives that this tragedy has claimed.
But this is not all.
About 6 yrs after this dreadful attack, Americans still don't know who was behind the attacks.
If Osama was behind it, why is he free out somewhere in Pakistan boldly issuing video tapes asking Americans to convert to Islam and calling for more attacks against Americans?
Why has the his hunt stopped?
He is just having fun robbing the noses of Americans into this tragedy.
So far, in an attempt to fight global terrorism, America is now embroiled in Iraqi war which has claimed about 3,500 lives of American soldiers, cost about $500 billion dollars and is being hotly debated in America.
In America if you support American soldiers to continue the fight in Iraqi, you are condemned as a Bush puppy and a war monger.
If you support the withdrawal of American troops, you are also condemned as a sissy, an anti-patriot, a sympathizer to the terrorists and enemies of America.
This war is fast polarizing America and making America’s enemies stronger.
I call on America to stop carrying out foreign policies that offend and outrage citizens of other countries, especially the Moslems.
Also, I call on Islamic militant fundamentalists and terrorists to stop attacking America and killing innocent Americans.
