Comments: U.N. renovation to start later this year, end in 2014
Hello:
I am not in favor of the current planned renovation of United Nations buildings in New York City.
In my opinion, locating a world body like UN in US was a very poor decision.
UN should be located in a neutral location on earth accessible to all nations of the world.
Having UN located in New York not only inconveniences New Yorkers but also jeopardizes the security of America.
Instead of spending billions of dollars to renovate the current buildings in Manhattan, I will like the UN to be moved out completely out of US to a neutral land that could be carved out from any country and paid for, just like Vatican is located in Italy but is an independent state.
