Comments: Landmark Public Library location to open Sundays
I remember well when the library closed on Sundays. My parents lived in Mahnattan. I was away at college but when I came home on weekends and in the Summer, that library was my refuge. When it closed I thought it was just the next step towards the end of the world (it was the 60's, we were young and dramatic...)
