I don't know of a Mexican place, but Nevada Smith's in the east village always shows the World Cup. Friendly, lots of big screedn TVs, etc, but when I went there was a stong English pub vibe. Hope this helps.

I was hoping you could help me with this one.
I will be in New York this coming June with my boyfriend and for my luck Mexico will be playing at the Soccer World Cup when we are there. My boyfriend is Mexican and he is freaking out about the match. He wants to watch this game among Mexicans, which makes it almost impossible since I don't know anybody in New York. Here's where you come in...Do you know a nice, friendly place where mexicans get together in New York? I would really apreciate any information at all... Restaurants, Pubs, Bars...anything??
