I haven't been to the Campbell Apartment since 2004, when it did still allow smoking. Much to my dismay, I've just learned that it lost its license and so is truly no longer on the list.

To my dismay, Campbell no longer allows allows smoking. It was once the greatest bar in New York, now it's just another safe place for Westchester dentists to go for a glass of chardonnay after the Nora Jones concert. As to Velvet Cigars in the East Village, it is technically classified as a retail tobacco store, not a bar, and thus are allowed to permit smoking. Very clever, those boys at Velvet Cigar.
I wonder if the Piano Bar at Jilly's still allows it. Anyone?
