Comments: The original Winnie the Pooh lives in Midtown
I am glad to hear that the Winnie the Pooh toys are now on public display, however I find it very sad that they were not returned to England. The original tales of Winnie the Pooh and his friends are unresoundedly English on all accounts. I can only console myself with the fact that they reside in New York which at least has some class about it, god forbid should they be in somewhere like Texas. I just feel that as America has now 'Disneyfied' Winnie, why not keep that version and let us have back our original?
