Comments: AirTrain transfers absolutely miserable with luggage
Thanks for telling the truth about Air Train. The PA & MTA do a good job of promoting it, but reality bites.
Those officials must never have done the actual process of going on a subway and trying to get an Air Train ticket from the machine.
If I recall, the machine won't take a $20 bill because it can't make change. UGH!
Plus, on a June 5th trip, my son and I had some time and decided to ride the loop around JFK for fun. It was a hot weekend and each train that came was not adequately air conditioned. We stepped in to several cars and all were warm-ish. Eventually, one did feel acceptably cooler, but not what I would say was nicely air conditioned.
I would never take Air Train again.

I don't see anything Airtrain-specific here. Yes, the subway can be annoying when you have large luggage. Where's the revelation?
And why didn't you transfer to the G at Hoyt-Schermerhorn to save yourself the stairs at Jay Street?

Wow, what a nightmare.
