Free ice cream at Museum of the City of NY

bluemarblelogoStarting today, the Museum of the City of New York will give out free ice cream sandwiches to visitors through Jan. 2.

The sandwiches, by Brooklyn-based Blue Marble, will be given out one per person while supplies last.

Current exhibitions at the museum include “The Greatest Grid: The Master Plan of Manhattan, 1811-2011” and “Cecil Beaton: The New York Years.”

The museum is among a dozen in the city that always operate with a suggested admission policy. The museum’s suggested admission is $10.

The Museum of the City of New York is located at 1220 Fifth Ave. at 103rd Street.
