Summer Restaurant Week extends to Sept. 5

restaurantweeksept5It’s been a long time since “Restaurant Week” did not exceed seven days, so it should come as no surprise that a couple hundred NYC venues have again signed on for the full-summer extension.

Summer Restaurant Week deals have been extended to Sept. 5 at more than 200 restaurants, according to NYC & Co., the city’s tourism bureau and official sponsor of the promotion.

Restaurants taking part in the extension include Lincoln Restaurant, Red Rooster Harlem, Aquavit, 21 Club, Le Cirque, Bar Boulud, Mesa Grill, Palm Court, Nobu, Butter, Chinatown Brasserie, Cipriani Wall Street, Colicchio & Sons Tap Room, DBGB, Frankie & Johnnie’s Steakhouse, Joe Allen, Kittichai, Shun Lee, Tocqueville and Water’s Edge.

Participating restaurants offer three course meals priced at $24.07 for lunch and $35 for dinner. Some opt out on weekends and not all offer the deals at both lunch and dinner. Tax, tip and drinks are not included in the price.
