Free food outlook: Ben & Jerry's, strawberries and cream
There is good news for sweets-seeking people in New York City this week.
The Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Truck Tour returns to NYC this week, handing out free ice cream at multiple spots.
Follow @BenJerrysTruck on Twitter through June 29 to find the locations.
Free strawberries and cream will be available at Rockefeller Center through Friday as part of the HSBC-sponsored Wimbledon events.
The strawberries and cream — from California Giant Berry Farms — will be available daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also available for free: live Wimbledon screenings and classic archived footage from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; racquet restringing; Wii kiosks outfitted with EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis; and temporary grass courts for singles tennis (call (855) 688-7715 to reserve a court time.) Monica Seles and Jim Courier will occasionally hop onto the courts to play against fans while Brett Haber handles the play-by-play.
