Upcoming fireworks in NYC for spring/summer '10

Before the Macy’s July Fourth Fireworks returns to the Hudson River this summer, there are plenty of other fireworks shows on New York City’s calendar before then - and after.
The Brooklyn Cyclones have a dozen Coney Island fireworks nights scheduled during its season, starting with its June 19 Opening Day game against the Staten Island Yankees. Fireworks are also planned for July 3, July 10, July 16, July 23, July 31, Aug. 6, Aug. 7, Aug. 27, Sept. 3 and Sept. 4. Six of those nights are actually part of Coney Island’s fireworks on the beach schedule, which happens weather-permitting every Fridays from June 18 through Sept. 3.
On June 26, Childrens Day NYC plans a fireworks show near the South Street Seaport.
Four of the New York Philharmonic free concerts in the parks will get fireworks this summer: Central Park on July 13 and July 14; Cunningham Park in Queens on July 15; and Prospect Park in Brooklyn July 16.
The city’s 311 information service lists a number of other fireworks permits issued thus far for this spring and summer:

Update on June 15: The city has added June 15 fireworks for Fort Tryon Park’s 75th anniversary at Dyckman Fields in Inwood Hill Park in northern Manhattan.
Update for June 27: Dance on the Pier on Pier 54 on the Hudson has scheduled a fireworks show. The permit is for 10:30 p.m. according to 311.
On July 1, the Bronx Borough Presidents Office is sponsoring fireworks at 9:20 p.m. at Orchard Beach.
On July 2, the Breezy Point Co-operative is sponsoring fireworks at 9:30 p.m. at Breezy Point.
On July 3, the Riverbay Fund is sponsoring 9 p.m. fireworks in the Bronx at Erskine Ave - East End near the handball courts.
Update on June 30: Tonight’s free Central Astoria’s Waterfront Concert Series (from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.) will conclude with a Grucci fireworks display, according to the event listings on the NYC Parks website.
Update as of July 8: The Staten Island Yankees do post-game fireworks after every Thursday and Friday home game (plus Opening Day and the 2010 New York-Penn League All-Star Game).
