Soup truck schedule for Winter Restaurant Week
It should come as no surprise that Manhattan would take a soup line to all new levels.
As part of Winter Restaurant Week, NYC this year plans to back up the truck - and park in three Manhattan locations to serve gourmet soup for $6, with part of the proceeds going to Haiti relief efforts.
The soup truck’s locations:
Jan. 25 to 29: Broadway between 50th and 51st streets
Feb. 1 to 3: Fifth Avenue between 18th and 19th streets
Feb. 4 and 5: Greenwich Street between Warren and Murray streets
On those days, the truck will open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. selling two or three soups each day. Each serving will come with bread from Tom Cat Bakery.
