Circle Line offers $1 Santa Cruise to aid Toys for Tots

newcircleline2008.jpgCircle Line in Manhattan will host a $1 Santa Cruise to the Statue of Liberty on Dec. 12 as a benefit for Toys for Tots, the ferry company announced today.

To get a $1 ticket, passengers must bring a toy to the cruise.

Santa will meet and greet families on board the boat, which will leave Pier 83 (at West 42nd Street on the Hudson River) at 11 a.m. Boarding begins at 10:30 a.m.; the boat will return from the cruise at 12:30 p.m.

Tickets may be booked in advance.

Update: The boat will have indoor and outdoor space for passengers, as well as heaters, a Circle Line spokesman told NewYorkology.
