Pictures: Thanksgiving parade balloon inflation 2009
The crowds have convened on the Upper West Side tonight for a sneak peak of Spider-Man, Mickey Mouse, Shrek, the Pillsbury Doughboy and other giant balloons getting their helium infusions for the 83rd Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The free viewing party continues throuogh 10 p.m. on 77th and 81st streets just west of Central Park.
