Free Whitney Houston concert today in Central Park

Just when it looked like the free summer concerts had packed up for the season, here comes Whitney Houston.

gma_whitney.jpgHouston will perform in Central Park today for a taping of “Good Morning America.” Gates to Rumsey Playfield will open to the public at 11 a.m. She’ll be promoting her new album “I Look to You.”

The show will air Wednesday.

Houston’s not the last free summer concert. The calendar also includes a free John Fogerty show at the South Street Seaport on Wednesday evening.

(Thanks to The Skint for the Houston concert tip.)

Update: Hit Twitter for live pictures from the Whitney Houston Concert in Central Park, including this one from Jonathan Cheban.
