Museum Day offers free admission at 40 NYC venues
This Saturday, 40 New York City cultural institutions will open their doors for free as part of the fifth annual Smithsonian Museum Day. All you have to do is print out an admission card for free access to any one location including the Cooper-Hewitt, the Intrepid, the Rubin, New-York Historical Society or the Skyscraper Museum.
Not all bargains are equal, as some museums on the list are always free, and some are offering special tours or exhibitions for the day.
The printable Admission Card — one per household — provides entry for only two people. The card must be given up in exchange for free admission at the museum of your choice.
