Five free days at new Museum of Chinese in America



The Museum of Chinese in America will celebrate its grand re-opening starting Tuesday by offering five days of free admission in its new Maya Lin-designed space at 215 Centre St.

On Tuesday the museum will also debut the exhibition “With a Single Step: Stories in the Making of America,” a history of the Chinese American experience, and a contemporary art exhibition called “Here & Now: Chinese Artists in New York.”

Regular admission will be $7 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, and free for children under 12.

Free days at the museum:
Tuesday, Sept. 22 - 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 23 - 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 24 - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 25 - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 26 - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
