Studio audience tix: SNL, Letterman, Martha, Colbert
From early morning to late night, several comedy, news and talk shows open their doors for free to studio audiences in New York. Often, the hardest part is securing the freebie.
By far the most difficult is “Saturday Night Live,” which doles out the tickets in an August online lottery, but leaves some available for each show’s stand-by line. (NewYorkology stopped by NBC on Monday and confirmed the online lottery works the same way this year even though the online site still refers to the ‘08-‘09 season. The same thing happened last summer.)
