Studio audience tix: SNL, Letterman, Martha, Colbert

From early morning to late night, several comedy, news and talk shows open their doors for free to studio audiences in New York. Often, the hardest part is securing the freebie.

By far the most difficult is “Saturday Night Live,” which doles out the tickets in an August online lottery, but leaves some available for each show’s stand-by line. (NewYorkology stopped by NBC on Monday and confirmed the online lottery works the same way this year even though the online site still refers to the ‘08-‘09 season. The same thing happened last summer.)

Here are the links to NYC shows with ticket availability and stand-by line options:

Saturday Night Live
Late Show with David Letterman
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
Colbert Report
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
The View
The Martha Stewart Show
The Rachel Ray Show
The Tyra Banks Show
The Wendy Williams Show
