New York mag picks the cheapest of the best new food

nymagcheapeats09.jpgNew York magazine is out with its annual Cheap Eats issue, this year heavy on pizza, burgers and sandwiches with a side of suggestions in neighborhoods such as Ditmas Park, Corona, Vinegar Hill and Flushing.

Among the plugged picks: madwoman pastries at Momofuku Bakery & Milk Bar; porchetta - or the vegetarian side dishes - at Porchetta; and ‘wichcraft in the Flatiron has started a pilot program serving dinner, including a “gently priced” wine list.
