Cupcake hunt at the Bronx Zoo's Congo Gorilla Forest

The Bronx Zoo this summer is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Congo Gorilla Forest exhibit — with cupcakes.

No word on which NYC cupcake shop delivered the “enrichment treats” to the western lowland gorillas. The 6.5-acre simulated rainforest allows visitors to get close to more than 20 animals.

Th Bronx Zoo has been open since November 8, 1899. It’s operated by the Wildlife Conservation Society.

See MommyPoppins for a $5 zoo coupon.
