NYC hotel deals aplenty as average rate dips to $201
Since hotel room rates in New York City continue to slip — down to an average daily rate of $201.20 as of the first week in June, according to Smith Travel Research — deals can still be found under $200 a night this summer.
Quikbook’s NYC sale starts today and runs through this Friday, The deals are good through September 7.

The Standard, which straddles the new High Line park, is still offering a web-only $195 rate.
The Jane, which just opened its bar, offers rooms from $79 to $99. There’s free wi-fi, but the communal restrooms are down the hall.
The Pod Hotel’s summer special rate starts at $129.
The new Ace Hotel has rooms from $149, but that’s for a set of bunk beds.
The Wellington Hotel — which was Borat’s hotel in NYC — has rooms on offer from $99 a night at the end of June.
The Portland Square hotel has rooms from $109 this summer.
The 72-hour sale at Hotels.com — which is much better than it’s limited-time 0 percent deal (pictured) — offers rates for this weekend from:

The Apple Core hotels offers rates from $129 at two of its properties: La Quinta Manhattan and The Hotel at Times Square.
