Eloise returns to The Plaza with pricey packages

eloisebackattheplaza3.jpgThe famous painting of Eloise is back at The Plaza and the hotel is marking her return with pair of packages perfect for precocious little girls.

The comparatively practical Live Like Eloise package, priced from $895 a night, gets you a Deluxe Rose Suite, a super-duper sundae from in-room dining, a copy of the “Eloise” book, and “Eloise post cards with complimentary postage.”

And then there’s the Live Like Eloise Slumber Party Package. Priced from $3,595 per night, it lets as many as six young girls camp out in a Plaza Suite with Eloise DVDs, snacks, room-service sundaes, post cards and Kay Thompson’s “Eloise’s Guide to Life or How to Eat, Dress, Travel, Behave and Stay Six Forever.”

The popular Eloise character, created by Liza Minnelli’s godmother Kay Thompson, was drawn by Hilary Knight.
