ssswatertaxibeachbridge.jpg

Manhattan’s first Water Taxi Beach is getting its sand on.

The north side of the pier at the South Street Seaport is readying for a Saturday night sneak peak of the new venue, with an official grand opening set for May 30.

The Saturday preview will feature music by Studio 54 DJ Nicky Siano from 10 p.m. The beach closes at 2 a.m. Tickets are $20 (or “tell them Murray sent you and get in for $5,” )

Fish tacos and beer will be on sale.

The original Water Taxi Beach at Long Island City has already started its pre-season events, with an official opening set for Memorial Day Weekend.

The Governors Island Water Taxi Beach will open July 4 weekend.
