Central Park Film Fest releases free summer schedule

(Update: The order of the films has changed since the schedule was originally announced in May.)
The 7th Annual Central Park Film Festival has announced its full schedule for this summer, with a slight twist that will allow viewers to pick the closing night’s selection.
The festival will run from Aug. 18 through Aug. 22 at the Rumsey Playfield, near Fifth Avenue and 69th Street.
All screenings start at 8 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m. All films are closed-captioned. The screenings go on rain or shine.
The schedule:
Aug. 18 - “Shaft” “Sex & The City”
Aug. 19 - “Oceans 11” “Shaft”
Aug. 20 - “Sex & The City” “Oceans 11”
Aug. 21 - “Twilight”
Aug. 22 - Viewers’ choice: “Men in Black,” “Goldfinger” or “Desperately Seeking Susan”
Voting will take place July 15 to Aug. 15.
The festival is sponsored by Bloomberg L.P. and hosted by the Central Park Conservancy.
