Ace Hotel opens at 29th St. with bunk beds from $99

acenylogoopen.jpgNew York’s Ace Hotel has officially opened for business with regular rooms from $199 or a bunk-bed room from $99, according to the hotel’s website.

The hotel, which has free wi-fi in all rooms, is now open for guests with advance reservations, and new reservations are being accepted for May 19 onward.

The Northwest-based Ace chain will bring with them the Portland-fave Stumptown Coffee - hopefully by July, a hotel representative told NewYorkology. And this summer the hotel will also open a new restaurant, The Breslin, a creation from The Spotted Pig team. In the meantime, room service will be supplied by local restaurants.

Hotel Chatter also reports the hotel’s lobby bar aims to open May 15.

The Ace is located at 29th and Broadway.
