Lion cub Moxie makes her public debut at Bronx Zoo

Moxie, the first lion cub born at the Bronx Zoo in more than three decades, Wednesday made her first public appearance.

She was born November 6, 2008 to Sukari and M’wasi.

Check out Wildlife Conservation Society’s YouTube channel for more videos, including harbor seals near the Verrazano Bridge.

This Saturday, the Bronx Zoo will open its gates early for the Run for the Wild 5K run/walk to raise money to save gorilla habitat. Today is the last day to register online.
