Brooklyn Bridge Park free summer movie nights return

movieswview.jpgFree outdoor movies next to the Brooklyn Bridge will resume in July with a season including “Edward Scissorhands,” “The Maltese Falcon,” and “Catch Me If You Can,” the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy announced Monday.

The Movies with a View, now in its 10th year, takes place on the lawn of the Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park section of Brooklyn Bridge Park. All movie nights are on Thursdays, 6 to 11 p.m. Brooklyn DJs will spin tunes before the movies, RICE again will be on hand selling boxed dinners and Transportation Alternatives will provide bike valet service. SCI FI sponsors.

The season will run from July 9 to August 27.
