Food blog Eater today reports that it’s likely the next proposed location for a Water Taxi Beach will be the South Street Seaport at Pier 17.

Eater’s source is the March 10 agenda for a Community Board #1 meeting, which includes this item:
Liquor License Application
South Street Seaport – Pier 17, application for Liquor License for Water Taxi Beach South Street Seaport LLC - Resolution
Despite that, a spokesperson for the New York Water Taxi this morning told NewYorkology that the company will not comment on the report and that an official announcement is planned for March 11.
