LimoLiner bus adds Hartford with $39 one-way fare

lllogo.jpgLimoLiner, the luxury bus between Boston and New York City, will add a Hartford stop as of April 16 with a one-way fare of $39 from NYC, the company announced today.

The one-way fare between Manhattan and Boston will remain $89, and $160 round-trip.

Compared with the $1-bus services, the LimoLiner amenities pitch is enticing:
LimoLiner will drop off/ pick up in Hartford eight times daily. You will still benefit from all the amenities offered on board, such as wine service, oversized leather recliners, WiFi, Satellite TV/Radio, to name a few; and arrive at your final destination in our usual time frame of 4hrs. 10 mins.
The new LimoLiner stop will be located under the canopy between the Hartford Hilton Hotel and Hartford Civic Center, at the Church and Trumbull streets stop for the No. 10 Free Star Shuttle, which travels through downtown Hartford.

In May 2008, LimoLiner CEO Peter Pescatore told NewYorkology the Hartford service was in the works.
