Daily lottery for $25 box seats at 'Hair' on Broadway
“Hair,” which last summer played for free in Central Park, tonight begins previews on Broadway.
And in case you’re a dirty, naked, riot-fomenting, drugged-up sex maniac hippie (to paraphrase Time Out’s Upstaged blog) and don’t want to pay the regular $37 to $122 for tickets, you can take a shot at the daily lottery.
“A limited number” of $25 “Be-In Box” tickets to the musical will be sold at the box office for each performance. To enter, you need to be at the box offic two and a half hours early and stick around for the drawing two-hours before curtain. Each winner can buy up to two tickets, cash only.
Opening night for “Hair” is scheduled for March 31.
The Al Hirschfeld Theater is located at 302 W. 45th St., map.
