'West Side Story' will do daily $26.50 front-row lottery

The new revival of “West Side Story,” which begins previews on Broadway on Monday, will offer a lottery for $26.50 front row tickets two hours before every performance, producers announced today.
The random drawing will allow each winner the option to buy up to two tickets, cash only.
The new production is directed by its two-time Tony Award winning librettist Arthur Laurents and will feature the original Jerome Robbins choreography. Matt Cavenaugh (previously of “A Catered Affair” and “Grey Gardens”) will play Tony, while Maria will be 21-year-old Buenos Aires actress Josefina Scaglione.
Opening night is scheduled for March 19.
Regular tickets are priced from $46.50 to $121.50. It will play the Palace Theatre, 1564 Broadway, map.
