Restaurant Week extends yet again, through March 20
New York City’s Winter Restaurant Week is more like an all-you-can-eat buffet in 2009.
The extended Restaurant Week was supposed to end today, but the city’s official tourism bureau, NYC & Co., has just announced another course.
The extension of the extended Restaurant Week will now run through March 20 at more than 130 locations, offering a three-course lunch for $24.07 or dinner for $35.
Beverage, tax and tip are not included in that price. Weekends are excluded at most locations, but some will offer the deal on Sundays.
Participating restaurants include Café Boulud, Morimoto, Nobu Next Door, Payard, One if by Land, Two if by Sea, Apiary, Bar Breton and Bar Stuzzichini.
The full list of participating venues will be available Saturday. (Currently the list at that location includes restaurants that will drop off after dinner tonight.)
“NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2009 was a success, and we are excited to extend the program through the end of the winter,” NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta said in a statement announcing the extension. “This is our way of continuing to make fine dining affordable for New Yorkers and visitors, but to also provide a boost to many of the City’s restaurants in a tough economic climate.”
