Valentine's Day romantic hotel deals in NYC for 2009

If you’re looking for a romantic hotel for Valentine’s Day in New York City, here’s the list of options for 2009. There are a handful of unique offerings, and many are available long past February 14.

NYC’s Valentine hotel packages:

St. Regis - Return to Romance at The St. Regis New York, from $895, gets you a personal tour of the Jacques Torres Manhattan chocolate studio, an exclusive guided chocolate tasting, and daily valet parking.

Hotel Gansevoort - Valentine’s Day Package, from $545 per person per night, gets you a deluxe room, a dozen red roses, Mile High Kit, Twister, Book of Erotic Games, chocolate-covered strawberries, a bottle of chilled Clicquot Veuve champagne, pool access and two complimentary poolside beverages, breakfast in China Grill’s signature restaurant ONO, along with early check in and late check out.

Ritz Carlton Battery Park - Chocolate Lovers’ Package, from $475 a night, gets you “luxury accommodations” and admission for two into the all-you-can-eat Chocolate Bar in the Rise bar.

The Kitano Romance Package, from $425, includes chilled Champagne, two free admissions to Live Jazz at the hotel, complimentary breakfast at the Garden Cafe and 1 p.m. check out.

Library Hotel - The Cupid’s Pink Romance Turndown, from $395 a night with a two-night minimum, features Moet & Chandon Rose Imperial Champagne, pink roses & petals turndown, Charbonnel’s Pink Champagne Truffles, and “a select collection of love books, specially chosen and arranged in the room by the hotel’s honorary librarian.”

Four Seasons - Romance & Style, from $1,105, with luxurious accommodations with city or Central Park views, Veuve Clicquot champagne, covered strawberries, breakfast for two in the 57 restaurant, TY lounge or through in-room dining.
