Rockefeller Center to get a one-night Mile High club

How do you top a night in the rotating hotel bed in the Guggenheim Museum?
How about a private suite on top of Rockefeller Center?
That’s the prize in Brides Magazine’s Mile High Honeymoon Suite that will land one lucky couple in their own glass-walled room on the 67th floor of 30 Rock, specially designed by the editors of the magazine, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary.
The high-ceilinged room offers northern and southern walls of windows and outdoor balconies on both sides. Called the Weather Room, the space is normally open to visitors of Top of the Rock, but can also be rented for private events.
To enter, a couple needs to write an entry explaining how they are “the most romantic couple in the world but haven’t had the honeymoon of your dreams.”
Applications will be accepted through this Friday.
The winners will spend the night of January 27 in the Mile High honeymoon suite, after a night on the town. And then there’s something about an all-expenses-paid stay in an overwater bungalow at the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora.
The Brides Mile High Honeymoon Suite will be open to the public at Top of the Rock during daytime operating hours of January 27 and January 28.
