Winter Restaurant Week sets Jan. dates, adds Sundays

Winter Restaurant Week will return in 2009 from January 18 through 23, skip Saturday, and resume January 25 through 30 with more than 250 restaurants offering three-course prix-fixe $24.07 lunches and $35 dinners.

Restaurants taking part will include Lever House Restaurant, Country, Bar Boulud, Gramercy Tavern, Nobu, Union Prime, Fishtail by David Burke, Dovetail, CafĂ© de Artistes, La Goulue, Apiary and The Palm Tribeca, according to the event’s organizer, NYC & Company the city’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization.

The full list of restaurants will go live January 5, the same day reservations will open.

The 2009 Winter Restaurant Week will mark the first time the event will officially include Sundays at some locations. More then 100 of the restaurants will offer the pre-fixe menus on Sunday, January 18 and Sunday, January 25.

The $24.07 and $35 price does not include tax, tip or drinks.
