The Standard NY vs Meyer Lanski's Riviera in Cuba

cubarivierahotel.jpg

cubahotelside.jpgThis AP story about Havana’s tourism surge served as a remind of how much Andre Balzas’ soon to open Standard hotel along the Hudson River looks like Meyer Lanski’s Habana Riviera on the Malecon in Cuba.

The Standard is scheduled to open this month in the MeatPacking District.

Maybe tomorrow.

Maybe December 21.
