Original Coney Island Pier for sale, piece by piece

The Coney Island Pier is for sale.
But in a good way.
The original wood has been removed by Olde Good Things, the same company that salvaged the stained glass at JFK Airport’s American Airlines’ Terminal 8 and put it up for sale earlier this year.
From the shop’s blog:Recently the City approved plans to replace the original pier and boardwalk. The material used for this project was a Brazilian hardwood called Ipe - a unique durable rain forest wood perfect for decking and outdoor use. The city, happy to recycle this endangered wood was glad for us to salvage the original Coney Island fishing pier and put it to green use. It is now available for sale reworked or in its original condition with its natural ocean-weathered grey patina.
If you’re looking to round out the theme, the shop’s nautical collection also includes several rusty anchors, dock bollards, antique ship wheels and a porthole from the decently dismantled “Nemo” boat.
Old Goode Things is located in Chelsea at 124 W. 24th St., New York, NY 10011, map.
