Olde Good shop: Andy Warhol doors, S.I. ferry anchor

siferryanchor.jpgIf you’re the kind of person who gets weepy over the teardown of an old building, Olde Good Things may be your Mecca.

Not only are they still selling stained glass salvaged from JFK Airport, they’ve got a pair of French doors from Andy Warhol’s factory on 32nd and 33rd street, Staten Island Ferry anchors, original NYC fire escape stairs from the turn of the century and coffee tables made from marble that used to be at the Museum of Modern Art.

Some other picks from the online catalog:

Ornate plaster medallions from a 1920s NYC theater - $250
US mail chute with eagle salvaged from NYC building - $250
Sign from Barrymore’s restaurant - $2,500
Big carved oak frame from the Lamb’s theater - $1,250
Victorian bronze appliques from The Plaza - $25
Large 1901 clock salvaged from a power company - $12,500
Terracotta stone with seahorse salvaged in Brooklyn - $450
Copper dormer surround from Carnegie Mansion - $17,500
Triangular iron pediment from Andy Warhol’s factory - $1,850

To physically get your hands on the goods, you can head to their NYC shop at 124 W. 24th Street, map.
