Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca now open with $199 rooms

HiltonGardenInnTribeca_handout.jpgThe Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca is officially open for business, surely qualifying as the last new hotel to open in New York City in 2008.

Although only some of the 151 rooms are complete, the hotel on Monday opened for business, NewYorkology confirmed with a call to the front desk. The hotel’s restaurant, Trigo, is scheduled to open January 15.

The online booking engine will let you book rooms for tonight from $199.

Rooms come with free wi-fi and high speed internet, a refrigerator, microwave, flat screen TV with free HBO.

The hotel is located at 6 York Street, map, directly above the Canal Street A/C/E subway station.
