Vintage travel posters exhibition at Swann auctions

This morning is you last chance to see Swann Galleries’ exhibition of Rare and Important Travel Posters before they go up for auction at 1:30 p.m.
Among the New York themed offerings are posters for the 1940 World’s Fair (pictured,) Staten Island Savings Bank (circa 1970,) New York Central Lines’ The Palisades of the Hudson and a slightly creepy monolithic cat for I (heart) NY’s Catskills advertisement.
The posters will be up for free viewing from 10 a.m. to noon.
