Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca aims to open in October

tribecalobby.jpg

The 151-room Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca is scheduled to open later this month.

tribecafireplace.jpgAnd maybe a step up from Motel 6’s “we’ll leave the light on for you” motto, the as-yet-unfinished Hilton Garden Inn actually had a fire burning in the fireplace on Friday night when NewYorkology happened by. (There was a security guard on duty on the other side of the lobby.)

Once opened, the hotel will have free wi-fi throughout, a microwave and fridge in each room, flat-screen TVs with free HBO and pay-per-view movies, a 24-hour business center and a fitness center.
It will also house Trigo Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The is located at 6 York Street, map, directly above the Canal Street A/C/E subway station.
