Ben-Hur screens at 1 p.m. as part of the Cinematic Atlas: The Triumphs of Charlton Heston film series at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts
The Music of Duke Ellington & More … with David Berger & The Sultans of Swing at Birdland
Staten Island Yankees home game
Runway show across the Brooklyn Bridge at 6 p.m. to kick off Fashion Indie Week Brooklyn
Christina Aguilera appearance at Macy’s at 5 p.m.
Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. for Carnegie Hall’s ‘08-‘09 season
Access is free all day today at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Wave Hill gardens. The China Institute Gallery is free from 6 to 8 p.m. and the Morgan Library & Museum opens its McKim rooms (Mr. Morgan’s library and study) for free from 3 to 5 p.m. today.
Additionally, the Society of Illustrators is open until 8 p.m.
