QE2 makes next-to-last visit to NYC before retirement

qe2sept16.jpg

Just got a glimpse of Cunard’s QE2 heading out of the New York Harbor.

This was her next-to-last visit to New York City before she heads to Dubai to become a permanently docked hotel.

Her remaining voyages call for only one more New York stop: October 16.

Update: Cunard’s PR firm sent over this detail about the QE2’s final visit to NYC: “QE2 will be docked in Manhattan on October 16 because Queen Mary 2 will be berthed in Brooklyn that same day.”
