Tribute to Richard Widmark series begins screening at BAM Cinematik

Mets vs. Houston at Shea Stadium at 7:10 p.m.

Les Paul plays Iridium Jazz Club at 8 and 10 p.m.

Jim Caruso’s “Cast Party” at Birdland from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Diaries of a Villain play a free concert at Hudson River Park’s Clinton Cove at 55th Street at 6 p.m.

Tonight’s colors on the Empire State Building go all yellow for the opening night at the US Open
