Last Police show: Aug. 7 at Madison Square Garden

policeaug7.jpgThe final Police concert ever -- or so they say -- will be at Madison Square Garden on August 7, the New York Times reports today.

Tickets will be available June 14 during a one-day pledge drive for New York public television stations WNET and WLIW. A contribution of $150 will get you a pair of tickets, while a $5,000 donation also nets you admission to sound check, dinner and a party.

The WLIW webpage advises Police fans to tune in June 14 at 7:30 and 9 p.m.

In May, The Police announced plans (pictured,) to aid the TV stations and pledged $1 million to MillionTreesNYC.

Their next-to-last shows will be at Jones Beach on August 4 and 5, with Elvis Costello & The Imposters.
