Knicks hire Donnie Walsh, Isiah Thomas still coaching

knickslogo.jpgBronx-native Donnie Walsh today was introduced as the new president of basketball operations for the struggling New York Knicks.

But the fate is uncertain for head coach Isiah Thomas.

"I have told him that we are going to sit down and talk in the coming days, and then we'll go from there," Walsh told a packed news conference at Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks have seven games remaining this season, inlcuding four home games.
