boltbuslincolntunnel.jpg

Super-cheap BoltBus will start service between Philadelphia and Manhattan on April 10 with one-way fares as low as $1, according to the comany's website.

boltbusphilly.jpgThe thrice-daily NY departures are scheduled for 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Service for Philadelphia will depart New York from Canal and 6th Ave as well as 34th and 8th Avenue. It will arrive in Philly at 30th and Market.

BoltBus, which started serving New York last week, is already providing eight daily trips between Manhattan and Washington D.C.

Next up: Boston.

Starting April 7, tickets for Boston will go on sale for service that will start April 24, according to the Boston Globe.

And athough all Bolt buses promise free wi-fi, there's currently a service alert on the company's website that states "Experiencing tech. problems with Wi-Fi access for Apple notebooks. Will resolve ASAP."

BoltBus rival MegaBus plans to launch service in NYC on May 30 with $1 service to Atlantic City, Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Buffalo and Toronto.
