Last-skate dates for NYC's outdoor ice rinks

rockrink.jpgIt's the first day of spring and that means the last of New York City's outdoor skating rinks will be closing for the season.

Here's the list of the ones that are still open, and their planned closing dates:

Trump Lasker Rink on the north end of Central Park - March 30

Riverbank State Park - March 30

Central Park’s Trump Wollman Skating Rink - April 6

Abe Stark Rink at the Coney Island Boardwalk - April 6

World's Fair Ice Skating Rink at Flushing Meadows Corona Park - April 6

Staten Island War Memorial Ice Skating Rink in Clove Lakes Park - April 6

The Rink at Rockefeller Center - April 13

Year-round indoor ice skating is available at Chelsea Piers

And rest assured, the website for The Pond at Bryant Park promises it will reopen for another season come October.
