DeNiro's Greenwich Hotel on track for April 1 debut
Robert DeNiro's Greenwich Hotel indeed looks like it's going to make its targeted April 1 opening date.
 Not only has the hotel's website changed "coming soon" to "opening April 1st, 2008" -- but it also looks as though it's received a city certification to open at least 33 rooms. The plan is ultimately for 75 rooms and 13 suites.
Room rates range from $475 to $695 until June 1, when they jump to the $625 to $825 range.
The hotel's official website doesn't yet have room details, but you can find extended descriptions at third-party hotel bookers such as MetroTravelGuide.com. There you'l learn of the Greenwich Hotel's Tibetan silk rugs, Moroccan tile, Siberian oak floors, complimentary internet and private yoga classes.
The hotel is located in Tribeca at 377 Greenwich St., map.
Downstairs will also house another DeNiro project, Ago Restaurant -- which will reportedly open "later this month."
